     Bradley O'Blenes received his BFA from San Jose State University, California, in 2024, he will pursue his MFA in the coming years as well. He is a mixed media artist whose practice delves into the intersections of human form and philosophical inquiry. Using combinations of charcoal, ink, oil paints, and collage, Bradley's work layers materials and techniques to create complex and introspective compositions. Each work reflects a process of exploration, where abstract and anatomical forms coexist, evoking questions about identity and existence.

     Rooted in Bradley's interest in philosophy and antiquity practices, the work pursues an understanding of reality beyond surface appearances, examining the deeper layers of perception and the self. The process is as much an investigation of material as it is a personal journey with each mark and texture serving as a reflection of internal thoughts and theories on the nature of being.
